Good product BAD CHARGING Design

I purchased this product from Macy's and absolutely loved the results after only 2 applications. My disappointment with the product lies with the charging design. I returned the product for exchange 3 times due to it not holding a charge. I contacted Clarisonic with my concerns and was told that they were unaware of complaints of charging issues with the system. I suggested that Clarisonic read posted reviews stating issues with the unit not holding a charge. Clarisonic sent me a replacement unit. Unfortunately, it too was returned after three days of use.. reason - it failed to recharge. I love this unit and hope that Clarisonic addresses this issue very soon. It's a wonderful system and I would definitely recommend it if I had had a better experience. Four returns resonates a definite issue with the unit's charging design.

I have been using the Clarisonic Skin Cleansing Brush System for years and love it! Didn't think it was possible to like anything more, but was proven wrong after purchasing and using the Opal! Can't believe the immediate results...thinking it was just for use around my eyes when I originally purchased it. And then after reading the manual realized it could be used other places as well. So I tried it around my lips, between my brows, on my forehead as well as around my eyes and the results have been instantaneously amazing! Thanks Clarisonic for creating another great product!

I purchased the Opal Sonic Infusion System hoping that it would work like the brushes and it was so disappointing. This product, Opal Sonic Infusion System doesn't work. It would be great for you to come up with a better version that really is as promising as your brushes.

I purchased the opal 2 months ago - i use the opal around my mouth and eyes with noticeable results - my brow area above eyes have firmed and lifted look. i also use the clarisonic mia2 to cleanse before using the opal - pleased with both - thank you clarisonic!

I am a 66 y.o. using the clarisonic brush system and the clarisonic OPAL for about 2 years. People think that I've had "work done" around my eyes. But it's just the OPAL doing it's work. My eye area looks fantastic, even if I do say so myself (only after many people, friends, classmates have said).

I have the clarisonic mia 2 and now the opal. This product is the best invention that someone could come up with! My family members are asking me " what have you been doing to your face and eyes"?
I tell them it is the mia 2 and opal thats giving me a youthful look. I have three kids to take care of, so that mean lack of sleep with dark under eyes. Take it from me YOU NEED THIS PRODUCT!

I started using the mia a year ago. A week later people were asking if I had changed makeup because my skin looked so good. I got my Opal the last week of February, exactly one year later. A week after I started using it people were asking if I'd been on vacation. Circles and bags were so improved! I'm 51 and people are saying I have Benjamin Buttons syndrome! I'm thrilled!!!

wish I had gotten this Opal earlier as repairing the skin in a 70 year old is much harder than keeping it in good shape.. but it is working slowly... Smaller wrinkles and lessened damage...

Can't believe this problem has not been fixed

I purchased the opal 24 hours ago... I never got to enjoy it because after the charge period it worked for 30 seconds and just stopped working. I thought hmm maybe I did not have it charging right. So I tried to charge it and it would not even connect. I read in previous posts that the opal died very quickly. I was optimistic since I am a big fan of Clarisonic in general. So sad I really do believe the opal is benfical. I have tried it a few times and decided I couldn't wait any longer to try. Not sure on how I feel about replacing this product considering from the sounds of the past reviewers it has a history of gliching out. I WISH Clarisonic would FIX this bug. This product is not cheap by any means.

You should return opal for replacement....have Never-had a problem with them..they work extremely well. Give it another chance!

I love the Clarisonic Producys. The good thing is they have a great guarantee and replacement policy. I've had my Opal for over a year and no problems what so ever! Clarisonic just replaced my Plus with no questions. I had had it over two years!! Great company with great products that they stand behind;)

I have this to my mom for Christmas because she's been concerned about the lines around her eyes and was even looking about having "work" done. She's been using it for 3 months now and her best friends are convinced she had Botox or something!! She looks 10 years younger!! I'm 21 years old and I even got one for myself for the sun lines forming around my eyes.

I have purchased 3 different Clairsonic's and owned 6. I'm giving up. I've had three facial brushes and three Opal's. If you aren't watching for the moment your Clarisonic get's a full charge so that you can take it off the charger it burns out the unit. Nordstrom's has been great replacing the untis. But it's gotten old and I don't want them to think I don't know what electricity is... It's a shame too because I really like both units but I'm going to look for another system and try them out.

I'm over 80 years old and have already acquired plenty of crows' feet. I have definitely found an improvement around my eyes, on which many people have commented. I also use the Clarisonic face brush, and get many compliments on my skin, even though I have enlarged pores, for now they are very clean and appear smaller.

I have both clarisonic face products. they are wonderful for cleaning and hydrating. i don't use the provided serum, but opt for something else on my own. You just have to get into the habit of having extra time in your face maintenance routine. wish everything wasn't so expensive.

I purchased my Opal at Glen Ivy Day Spa about a month ago. When I got home, I registered my product and read the reviews. Some great and some not so good. Well, just like one of the reviews I had read, my Opal quit working after just two weeks. I asked for a refund because I don't want to go through the process every time it breaks. I am just not that confident in the quality of this product. I do love all my other Clarisonic Products.

The Opal is Working for Me!

I am in my mid-40s and was TOTALLY discouraged by crepiness, under eye circles, and puffiness. I purchased the Opal from my local spa in April and have used it routinely (twice daily) ever since. I use the Opal serum in the morning, and my own at night. I wish I took before and after pictures, because in the three months I have used the Opal, the fine lines/crows feet around my eyes have diminished considerably, and I am thrilled that it has also nearly eliminated my under eye puffiness (which was totally upsetting me). I know there are some mixed reviews, but the Opal is definitely working for me!!!

For those who are pleased with the results of their Opal Sonic Infusion, I am happy for you. However, after nine months of faithful daily use (morning and night), I did NOT see any improvements in my deep lines and crows feet. I used the serum that came with the Opal Infusion, and when I saw no improvement I used other "name-brand", highly-rated eye serums as well--all to no avail. I do not recommend this product to women who have obvious signs of aging.

i am really unhappy. I have kept my opal sonic on my dresser and one day it just stopped working. I called the company and they immediately replaced it. I was happy about that. Then, believe it or not, two months later it happened again! I do not understand it. I doubt they will replace this one, but thought I should warn others in case this happens to them. Both machines were carefully used and put away safely. Was it just bad luck? I don't know.

Gee... I could have written your review... I had the same issue - just contacted Clarisonic to let them know my second opal has failed...
I love the Opal and I love my clarisonic face and body brushes but am so bummed that I have been having issues... They are a great company but I think the need to work on the quirks with the Opal. Hoping the third time is the charm with these Opals!!

I started using the Opal about 2 weeks ago and I am already seeing a drastic improvement. My main issue are the dark circles, both under my eyes and the eyelids themselves. I cant believe how much improvement there has been, I no longer have to use concealer on my eyelids! The darkness underneath is not as wide an area as before I started. My skin is smoother and finally hydrated. I will tell everyone I know that suffers from dark circles and puffiness that this actually works. Thank you Clarisonic!!!!!!!

I have to add that Clarisonic is great about backing up their products. I actually have had 2 of the Clarisonic facial brushes quit working and they have replaced them each time. And I cannot imaging my life without my clarisosnic facial brush or opal, both of which have done amazing things to my skin. So, unfortunately you probably just had some bad luck like I did. It happens. Great products and great company who stands behind their products.

How often did you charge it? I only charge mine about 1x a week or even every 2 weeks. I haven't had any problems with it and I purchased it in Feb. I do some some improvements in my lines around my eyes, but it's not a miracle cure for someone my age, 52.

The Opal is amazing, I was skeptical, but I see a huge difference in the appearance of the fine lines around my eyes, they have dimished greatly. It seems to also hps with under eye puffiness first thing in the morning.

I have been using the Opal for over a year and am sooooooooo happy with the results. I also use it for the fine lines over my upper lip with good results. I am going to be 72 next month and people don't believe me. I have used the Clarisonic for over two years, and I wouldn't give it up for anything.

I purchased the Opal shortly after I purchased the Mia2. After a couple weeks of using the Opal, my husband and friends noticed the fine lines around my eyes had softened and were less noticeable. So I guess the Opal is doing its job. You can use whatever serum you are already using. You do not need to use the one it comes with.
