Bring back Nourishing Care Cleanser Formula

I was so pleased when I bought my Clarisonic Cleansing System and used the Nourishing Care Cleanser for Normal/Dry Skin. It did a wonderful job. I've been trying for months to order the Nourishing Care Cleanser from my skin care specialist only to learn it has been discontinued. She gave me a sample of the Gentle Hydro Cleanser and the Refreshing Gel Cleanser. They both left my skin feeling tight and irritated. When I called customer service, I was told that one of the reasons for dropping the Nourishing Care Cleanser was the fragrance (which I never even noticed). While there may be some people who did not like the original formula, it's obvious from the reviews, that I am not the only person who cannot use the new products. Please bring back the old formula of Nourishing Care Cleanser which contained green tea, shea butter and vitamin B5. Why would you drop a product that was perfect? Please add it back to the other cleansers for those of us who need it. Remember, one size does not fit all.

This is the best cleanser I've used in years! It's not drying, not over hydrating, it cleans my skin gently (think upgraded Cetaphil), without striping, clears the redness completely and the scent is very mild. Works great with the Clarisonic Mia 2.

Since I've purchase my Clarisonic Mia 2 prior to having a big birthday; I have received numerous comments on how radiant an great my skin looks. My photos tells the whole story. Best of all the sales lady said it can continue to use my current skincare system Mary Kay Timewise Repair that launch in September 2012. I am very very satisfied with theMia 2 brush set.

I was excited to see the free samples of the gentle hydro cleanser that I received when I purchased a replacement Clarisonic Classic. However after several uses, I was disappointed with how the cleanser works and the results. First I put the product on the brush--that disappeared fast. Then I put the product on my moistened face; that didn't work any better. And finally I put the lotion on both the brush and my face and still ended up with an almost scratching effect on my cheeks.

Cleanser has made my skin more bright and youthful! Is not drying or soapy and easily primes the skin for ANY skincare products. My skin looks more even and moisture rich even prior to applying actual moisturizer! Hoping L'oreal merge doesn't change the qualitity!

I have only been using this product for a few days and I have noticed a huge difference in the size of my pores and texture of my skin. I ave been using ProActive for 2 years washing my face twice a day and putting on a mask every 3days. AND I would still get breakouts! The pro active has done a lot for my skin but I needed a deep cleaning everyday because of the size of my pores. With the Clarisonic Mia that I have I just use the hydro cleanser with the Mia and then I hand wash my face with my pro active and I have seen amazing results in just a few days finally my breakouts are almost one and the parts of my skin that i did no have any breakouts is already flawless! I have sensitive kin and this works great and is so relaxing too its a must have!

At first I love this product in the trial size, my oil was gone and my skin looked great so I figured getting the large size made sense. WRONG. After using it for 3 weeks, my face is so dry it stings when I apply lotion. Way too drying for my skin, even though I would classify myself as having combination skin. I am literally peeling despite applying quality facial moisturizers up to 5 times a day! I'm hoping that everything will get better now that I've stopped using acne medication (stopped over 3 days ago and my skin is still a mess!)

Since you have mentioned that you have stopped taking an acne medication after the introduction to using the clarisonic alongside the cleanser, I would recommend waiting at least 2 weeks before expecting to see true results. As an aesthetician, I know that medications tend to linger within the system for quite a while before it can be fully clear from your body. An average skin cycle is 21 days, so it may take a while before your skin can fully adjust to the new cleansing system, and more importantly to the adjustment if your medication.

I don't have anything bad to say about this product, it leaves my skin feeling smooth and refreshed though it does not seem to deep cleanse as well as some other facial cleansers I have used with my Mia.

I have rosacea and have had problems with my skin for as long as I can remember. The Clarisonic combined with the gentle cleanser has helped my skin massively, making my skin smooth and glowy. Its amazing! When I ran out, I tried another cleanser and it dried out my skin, even though it is especially for sensitive skin. So, I have spent a fortune shipping it over but it was so worth it.

Since I bought my Clarisonic Classic, I've tried all 3 of the sample cleansers that it came with. The gentle hydro cleanser was the most effective for my type of skin, which is combination with mild acne and is very affected by hormones and changes in weather.
I saw improvements in brightness, oil reduction, reduced redness and reduced blackheads/whiteheads within 2 weeks. I did have some initial dryness for the first few weeks when I first started using the brush, but that eventually went away, and I don't blame the cleanser for it. Because this cleanser doesn't dry out my face, my skin feels incredibly smooth all day after using it. I began to reach a point where I no longer needed a daily moisturizer. Unfortunately, I ran out of the sample for this and couldn't find a place to purchase it locally, so I tried the other two cleansers that my system came with, and a competitor.
Besides trying the other two cleansers that came with my system, I also tried a "resurgence gentle hydrating cleanser" that was recommended at Sephora. The cleanser is too thick to be effective with my brush, dries out my skin, and generally leads to more acne problems for me.
I can't wait for my cleanser order from Clarisonic to get here!

This was a very helpful review for me. At nearly 37 years of age, I'm still experiencing the same sensitive skin I've had since childhood and mild acne occasionally. Nearly everything I try makes my skin tight, itchy, and rashed. I breakout and/or have red itchy bumps from most products. So hearing that you have similar issues with your skin sounds reassuring to me. I just gave this a try and I am pleasantly surprised by the results. No drying, just soft comfortable skin. This actually calmed my skin after a bad reaction to another product and I love that it contains natural ingredients and no harsh dyes, perfumes or chemicals. Thank you for your post and I hope this is helpful to other reviewers.

I have spent sooo much money on skincare and do not hesitate to return items that do not work or I do not like. (I'm not a push over for hype). When I got my Clarisonic I had planned on using all my "great" products I already had. But when it arrived, I decided to humor myself and use the cleansers that came with it...atleast just one time. Oh my goodness, was I surprised. I love all of them. I am slowly giving away all my other "expensive, well known, top of the line" cleansers and only using Clarisonic cleansers. I can't wait to try the Serum and scrubs. I wish, wish, wish for a entire line of skincare I can completely switch to...moisturizers, masks, toners and whatever else Dr. Robb thinks I need. Thank you so much.

I have sensitive skin and absolutely love this cleanser. It smells wonderful, is an effective cleanser, and also is gentle and doesn't irritate my skin at all. I can't say that about most products out there! I love how the ingredients are based from natural ingredients and so good for your skin. I use it with my Clarisonic facial brush and it's a perfect duo.

Since I received all of the Clarisonic cleansers with my purchase of the brush, I could compare them all. This was my least favorite. It wasn't anything unusual (I like my Philosophy Purity better). I don't have problems with sensitive skin, so maybe a better choice for someone who does.

Silky smooth Gentle Hydro Cleanser allows my Clarisonic brush head to glide over my skin. Doesn't irritate my eyelids either. I use it both am and pm, with and without my Clarisonic. Yep, it feels that good! And no scent to irritate my skin, or my husband at bedtime. :)
