I am a 27 year old female who suffers from mod-acne. I recently got married and decided it was time I got off BC. It was a nightmare, I have never seen my face so broke out in all my life. I have tried everything you can think of proactiv, prescription strength meds, microdermabrasions and laser treatments nothing was really helping my sensitive skin. I debated going back on BC but knew it wasn't an option if I wanted to have kids. I heard about clarisonic from a lady at Sephora and decided maybe I should try it, why not? I have tried everything else you can imagine and nothing was helping, I had nothing to lose. I am very self cautious about my face and could not stand break outs at all, I was desperate to find something, anything to help. I purchased the Mia 2 after having tried Retin A for 4 months and had no improvement. When I bought the Mia 2 the lady said I should get the deep pore cleansing head additionally it was for acne, oily, black heads and deep pores. (which I had acne, oily skin and blackheads) I used it for about a month and a half I was fed up, it did not seem to be working almost thought my face was getting worse which they say a purging stage could happen as it brings everything to the surface so I didn't give up until I read some reviews about the deep pore cleansing head was not for acne prone skin and try the acne brush head (which they did not have when I first bought the Mia 2) the deep pore brush head is actually harsh on acne prone skin so I immediately stopped using it and bought the acne brush head. I have been using it for about 3 weeks with Retin A and can not express how much of a difference it has made on my skin. My exhisting pimples have cleared up and only had a few new ones appear in places I normally don't break out. My skin is less oily, less acne visable and few black heads. I am so glad I purchased the Mia 2 and can't not express how grateful I am this has helped my skin appearance. Everyone's skin is different so make sure you try the sensitive brush the Mia 2 comes with first before trying new brush heads. My face is very sensitive so I do not use the face wash it came with and use Cetaphil daily cleanser which I high recommend for anyone.
My routine:
Morning- Mia 2 with Cetaphil face wash
Night- Mia 2 with Cetaphil face wash wait 30 min then apply Retin A
Morning- Mia 2 with Cetaphil face wash
Night- Mia 2 with Cetaphil face wash wait 30 min then apply Retin A

This is one of the greatest products I have ever used. I've always had a generally good complexion but have been a little insecure about some minor imperfections what sometimes make themselves at home on my face and since I have started using my Mia2 I have seen a world of difference. I rave about this to everyone and have never heard anyone who regrets this purchase.

AMAZING for Millia!!!

I bought this product to see if this nifty device could clear up my millia. I've been using it for about a month and a half and my millia is almost gone!!!! For all of you out there who have millia...this is a MUST. I have millia on my cheeks (not around my eyes). The texture and dark spots on my skin are more even, my skin feels absolutely amazing. Also, my skin was SUPER oily...and it's no longer oily!!

I have only had my Mia 2 for 2 weeks and I love it. I am a 42-year-old African-American woman. I have been suffering with adult acne and hyper-pigmentation spotting.
I went the dermatologist and received an antibiotic for the acne. I have been using it and the Mia 2 together and my face is wonderful. I always thought that I had smooth skin (in the non-acne zone) but I was wrong. I cannot stop touching my face. It is so smooth and soft.
In addition, I do not have any new spots and I have noticed a decrease in the spots that I already had.
My only cons are that this system is really expensive both the Mia 2 and the refill heads. In addition, it would be nice to have a true off button.
Now there is a pause button, which turns off after 30 seconds. However, since the Mia 2 only last for 24 minutes a charge, every second counts. Please add on, pause, off.

I received the Mia2 as a Christmas gift. I have sensitive acne prone skin and was a little hesitant at first. But now I cannot imagine not using it! My face feels extremely clean, smooth and refreshed! It has not irritated my skin at all. I am not sure what happened but one day it just decided not to turn on and would not even charge. I called customer service and they are sending a new replacement unit. The customer service was excellent and it was a super easy transaction. Thank you Clarasonic!

This product has changed my skin for the better! When I first started using it in December, my skin did freak out-my face was a red, blotchy, broken out mess, and I lost faith in it for a while... I was WRONG! The more you use it, the more you'll get out of it. I use it with the olay regenerist cleanser and it's fabulous! After 3 months, my acne scarring has faded and my pores have shrunken dramatically. I haven't experienced any dryness other than when I used it with the neutrogena acne cleanser. Overall, a must have!!!! Highly recommended!!!!!!

I'm pretty cynical, probably because I have purchased dozens of skin products that have done nothing remotely like what they claimed. Although my skin is soft, it's very fair and sun damage and rosacea have become evident over the past few years and I hoped the Mia might minimize them. The price gave me pause, but after researching and reading reviews I decided to try it. It was the right decision. Within a week I noticed that the sun damage at the highest points on my cheekbones had faded from red to pink and the pores on my nose appeared smaller. I am so pleased with the product that I just bought the bigger one with the body brush - maybe it can help my thighs!

MIA 2-Amazing!

At first when my friend texted me about the MIA 2, I was worried that it was another one of those flukes. Boy was I wrong! I also was worried that I would break out after using the brush, but again I was wrong.
I bought the brush on January 14th, and have been using it ever since. Although it has only be 2 months, I have noticed a difference. Not only does my face feel a lot cleaner, but it also has less scarring (acne) and breakouts. I use it with the Clinique Acne Solutions line with the Even Better Clinical Strength. I also put a face mask (Fuller's mud, sandalwood powder, turmeric, cinnamon, gram flour, lime juice) on a daily basis before I wash with the MIA 2.
I recently got a compliment on my skin as well. And I definitely have not been told anything about my skin in years! Thank you MIA 2. I recommend this to anyone and everyone that wants to give it a shot.

I boutght this prodcut for blackheads in my t zone. While it cleaned my skin very well and did help with blackheads, it caused dryness, which i have never had in the past. I now use it once a week for a deep clean, but once a week is not helpful for blackheads.
I think if you have oily skin this would be great, but did not work for me.

I have moderate acne, and I am hoping for it to slowly get better. I ordered the mia 2 to see if it would help my skin. So far my skin feels great, and I definitely see a difference in 4 uses. My only complaints are that the cleanser keeps getting into my eye, it is expensive, and it takes 18 hours to charge it for just 24 minutes. Overall i think that this is a great product, and people should buy it.

I have rosacea and my skin is highly sensitive to face products and so I was a little concerned about trying the mia2 as the cost is quite a bit higher than other brands out there. HOWEVER, after doing a ton of research and reading reviews like this one, I thought I just have to give it a try. I cannot be more pleased! The mia 2 does NOT hurt my skin and my skin feels so soft and clean after I have used the mia2. I cannot say enough good things about the product. It is not a cure for my rosacea but it has helped the appearance of my skin and my foundation goes on much more smoothly and my products that I do use seem to be more effective. I think anyone who is sitting on the fence as I was should just try it!!! You will love it! I am thinking of getting one for my husband, my mom and my sister as future gifts. It is totally worth the money!

Broke after the first day

I purchased a Clarisonic on 3/7/2012. I used it that evening and it worked great. However, it doesn’t work anymore. I set it up to charge as per the instructions and checked it the next day and it will not turn on at all. The charging light indicator will now faintly display and disappear but you can feel a pulsation from the device. I’ve spoken with Clarisonic and they are sending me out a new one which is good. I did a lot of research on this product before making the purchase and am highly disappointed it stopped working after one use….hopefully I will have better luck with the next one.
I would like to give it a higher rating but I have only used it once. I must admit I did see and feel a difference after using the device and am excited to see the results of daily use.

definitely worth the money

After 10+ years of using birth control pill, I decided to stop taking them. After about two months, I started to break out so much around my chin, neck and cheeks (and back!). I was searching for anything and everything since I was not used to having acne. I calmed down my acne a bit by going to get facials but a friend of mine recommended I give clarisonic mia a try. I got mia 2 since it's the newer version. I can honestly say that I've never felt my face so clean with any other face wash. I've only used it for about 3 weeks and I love it. I use it morning and at night. I can't say it got rid of all my blackheads on my nose but they are definitely better. I have very large pores on my face (right next to my nose, under eyes) and I feel like those have gotten under control. I LOVE how smooth it makes my face feel. All the reviews I read turned out to be true. I use a cream to clean off my make up first then I use mia2 with my foamy cleanser. I look forward to washing my face morning and night because I LOVE the way it feels!!

The Mia2 is very easy and quick to use. In the past 3 months I have faithfully used it 2x a day (except one occassion when I opted to just go to bed with a dirty face ;) While I definately feel like it has helped control my oilyness, it has caused me to need extra moisturizer because my cheeks felt like they were cracking apart.
I also had hoped it would clean out the pores more on my nose and chin. It hasn't. But I'll keep trying...maybe a few more months of use will do the trick?

This was easily the best purchase I have made in a long time!!!! I waited for the first month of regular use to make my review just in case there were any red flags---my skin has never looked or felt better, I've tried several internal/external methods for clear skin (ie. Microdermabrasion, facials, peels, countless high-end & dermatologist prescribed products, etc.).
The Clarisonic Mia 2 is worth EVERY penny!

I am 53 years young and have been wanting to try Clarisonic for over a year now. I finally got the Mia 2 for Xmas and love!! It's taken me some time to get use to the time limit, I feel it's short because I'm so use to hand washing and not paying attention to time that I wasn't use to such a quick cleansing! Also, I'm use to "suds" on my face, which doesn't really happen with this, which I thought would hamper the affect of clean skin..but, my skin texture is very smooth, my skin is so soft and am very happy that I received it, so much so that I plan on purchasing the Opalsonic!! A must try for all. I also am planning on giving one to my sister for her birthday!!

In using the MIA it has totally done what promised it would do. I like the fact that it only takes a minute to cleanse my entire face and actually does remove all traces of residue. I can't wait to have my daughter, who is in her mid 30's, to compare on both of our skin types!

I got my Mia2 within the last two months, and have been using it ever since, each morning. I have used numerous different cleansers, and have found that all of them work extremely well with my Clarisonic. My skin has never looked or felt better! I've read reviews elsewhere, that said the Clarisonic is nothing more than an expensive washcloth. But I respectfully disagree; it does a MUCH better job than washcloths. I still occasionally get blemishes, but I cannot attribute that to my Mia2 (due to various other factors thrown in). I certainly don't expect it to prevent me from having any skin issues ever again. However, I can attest to the fact that my skin looks and feels the best it has in years (I'm 43.). My creams absorb better, and my makeup works better as well, thanks to my Clarisonic Mia2. I have to add, I caution users to steer clear of their eyebrows and hairlines while using the item. I also bought 2 replacement brush heads at a fabulous discount on the Clarisonic web site (gotta love them for that!), thanks to my registering my product after the purchase. This item may cost more than other imitations, but it works SO much better. Count me a very happy camper. :-)

This product is unbelievable! I have oily, acne prone skin that was terribly damaged by the sun when I was young and stupid. Nothing my dermatologist gave me worked this well. I've had it for a week now and my breakouts are gone, my face isn't an oil slick by lunch time and my pores have, for the most part, disappeared. I'm one of those people who since I was 13 years old have not been able to get my skin to where it should be thanks to heredity. This works outstandingly!

I bought one for my daughter and one for me for Christmas. I started using mine about a week before Christmas. My skin was dull, peeling, irritated and always broken out. After about 3 weeks of 2x/day use my skin tone has evened out, no outbreaks, no flaking skin and I once again have a healthy color to my face. Skin doesn't feel tight or dry. I look 10 yrs younger! A friend told me I looked "rested", lol. My new secret weapon!
